OBITUARY for Alice Pellerin Desormeaux Hebert

A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice, LA for Alice Pellerin Desormeaux Hebert, age 97, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital in Lafayette, LA.

Deacon Keith Duhon of Saint Joseph Catholic Church will officiate.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Cypress Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Cypress Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Lafayette, LA.

Alice Pellerin Desormeaux Hebert was born on February 4, 1925, in Youngsville, LA and she was a lifelong resident of Acadiana. She enjoyed camping as well as sewing. Alice was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Alice is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Dallas Paul Hebert of Lafayette; her children, Harris Desormeaux (Brenda) of Maurice, Daniel Desormeaux of Maurice, Roney Desormeaux (Joyce) of Alabama, Clarence "T-Boy" Desormeaux (Cathy) of Maurice; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Baltazar and Adele Meyers Pellerin; her daughter, Renella Desormeaux Wolf; her first husband, Sabrey Desormeaux; daughter-in-law, Claudine Desormeaux; son-in-law, Kevin Wolf; and sixteen siblings.

Pallbearers will be Keith Desormeaux, Wendell LeBlanc, Tucker LeBlanc, Brody Lambeck, Darin Desormeaux and Bubba Desormeaux.

Honorary pallbearer will be Shelton Hebert.
