Mr. Felston J. "Andy" Anderson, age 84, of Blairsville, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 21st.

Mr. Anderson worked for Western Electric Co. (Bell Telephone) for 34 years, retiring in 1981. He started his career in Atlanta, Georgia in 1946, and retired in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1981. He moved to Blairsville in 1990. Andy was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a veteran of WW II having served in the Army Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ila Faye Anderson in 1997.

Survivors include: four daughters, Karen Miller, and Jodi Anderson of Jasper, GA; Terri Anderson of Ellijay, GA; and Robin Anderson of Greenville, SC; three step-daughters, Reba Mixon of Silver Springs, FL; Jean Luksa of Palm Beach, FL; and Peggy White of Cypress Inn, TN; two step-sons, Charles Parks of Port St. Lucie, FL and David Parks of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; grandchildren and others also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25th at 11:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. George Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9, Friday, August 24. The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
