Larry Dean George age 67, of Tuscumbia, passed away January 1, 2023. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 12 pm until 2 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the Chapel with Bro. David Conley officiating. Interment will be in Barton Cemetery.
Larry was a lifelong resident of Colbert County. He retired from Applied Plastics. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He loved rides through town and visiting with friends.
Larry is survived by his children, Katie Herron (Phillip), Frankie George (Laurie); grandchildren, Austin Moreland, Keegan Herron, Katelynn Herron; mother of his children, Karen George; sisters, Margaret Conley, Marilyn Goss; brother, Michael George; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Allen and Effie George; sister, Alice Wallace; brother, Mitchell George.
Pallbearers will be Austin Moreland, Keegan Herron, Dale Conley, Larry Collins, Frankie McCaig, and Billy Conley.
