He enjoyed bluegrass music, was a talented mandolin player, and built many handmade mandolins for family members and local musicians. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Angelena Rich; and siblings, Junior Rich, Mattie Jo Blackwell, Hubert Rich, Margie Turner, Jimmie Ann Hardin, and infant, Hulon Rich. Survivors include his wife, Gail Rich; daughters, Stacie Wofford (Ben) and Sindy Rich; grandchildren, Benson Wofford, Zoey Vasquez, and Cash Vasquez; siblings, Lloyd Rich (Ernestine), Spud Rich (Opal), and Bonnie Smith; and sister-in-law, Mae Bell Rich.
