Originally interred in the Coats family burial ground at the corner of 3rd and Browne in the Northern Liberties District. The burial ground was sold in 1852 and remains removed to Laurel Hill Cemetery between 1853 and 1873. Headstone transcribed by S. A. Keyser in 1852.
