David Ghere Dead

David Ghere Dead At His Home at Colfax at Ripe Old Age - Had Been Ill Some Time

After a lingering illness, David Ghere died at him home at Colfax on Saturday, death being due to a general breaking down ofthe system due to old age.

The deceased was born in Pennsylvania and was about 80 years of age. He had lived in this county the greater part of his live, living in Jackson township until some six years ago.

He was a member of the M.E. Church. His wife died seven years ago, but the following children survive, Mrs. Jacob Ticen, Manson, Howard, George, and Jacob Ghere, of Kansas, Isaac, whose residence is unknown and Mollie Ghere, at home.

The funeral was held at four o'clock Monday at the Colfax M.E. Church with interment at Bunnell Cemetery.

No marker found as of Mar 20, 2014 per findagrave photo volunteer. Harmon, Harry, David and Elizabeth Gher (Ghere) are all buried on the same plot. Only Elizabeth has a stone.
