Albert Ray Becknell, 91, of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 31, 2022. He was born on May 13, 1931, in Clark County, Kentucky to the late Henry and Blanche Becknell. Mr. Becknell served his country during the Korean War as a U.S. Marine and worked as a masonry contractor. He was a Past Master of the Robert M. Sirkle Masonic Lodge No. 954 and a deacon of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church of Lancaster, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Albert Ray Becknell Jr. and daughter Angela Lee Becknell Powell. Survivors include his wife Wanda Lee Becknell, son Dennis Kent Becknell, special nephew Paul Pugh, brothers Calvin Becknell and Wayne Becknell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, January 06, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Harrodsburg Road Chapel. Prior to the service, Masonic Rites will be held at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10:00-1:00PM.
