Armolene Ruth Hawkins of Rock Hall died Tuesday, April 24, 1984 at the Kent and Queen Anne's Hospital at Chestertown. She was 85.
Born in Rock Hall, she was the daughter of the late Hester and Harry Williams and the wife of the late Andrew Hawkins.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by four daughters, Sarah Laster, Isabelle A. Hawkins, Daisy Clemons and Hester Wright; two stepchildren, Andrew Hawkins and Rosie Reed; 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 28 at Aaron Chapel United Methodist Church, Rock Hall. The Rev. Kofi Martin officiated. Burial was at Aaron Chapel Cemetery, Rock Hall.
Arrangements were by the Kenneth Walley Funeral Home, Chestertown.
