GLADYS ROBINSON, age 78, of Brookville, OH, passed away Monday afternoon, December 18, 2000 at Hospice of Dayton following a short illness. Mrs. Robinson was born October 8, 1922 in Gatliff, KY to the late William & Artie (Monhollen) Bunch. She was a member of the Nortridge Free Will Baptist Church and had worked as a cook at Dayton area restaurants for 30 years, most recently at Gearhart''s Cafeteria in New Lebanon. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Everett and Eugene Bunch; sister Edna Tye; and daughter-in-law Freda Robinson.

Survived by her husband Charles C. Robinson, whom she married June 1, 1940; children Janice Bowman & husband Bill of New Lebanon, OH, Gary Robinson of West Alexandria, OH and Denver Robinson & wife Maxine of New Lebanon; grandchildren Gary and Joel Robinson, Paul and Gregory Robinson, Kevin and Jeff Bowman; great grandchildren Maria, Matthew, Rachel, Brandon, Nicholas, Gary O. and Bradley; sister Aileen Wilson & husband Teddy of Union, OH; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday, December 22, 2000 at the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church - 4800 Payne Ave. - Dayton, OH. Pastor Timothy Hamilton presiding. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Barnes Funeral Home and at the Church one hour prior to services Friday. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Interment Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria.
