Marvin Carl Eberle, 76, of Chillicothe, formerly of Wyoming, IL passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Marvin was born on February 6, 1946 in Princeville to William R. and Marie (Eggli) Eberle. He married Sharon DeWolfe on March 2, 1968 in Peoria; she survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Aaron) Robbins of Chillicothe, and Jill (Kyle) Eisenbarth of Chillicothe; one son, Scott (Jennifer) Eberle of Edelstein; two brothers, Ronnie Eberle of Sparland, and Larry (Marge) Eberle of Henry; and one sister, Carol (John) Ganey of Luverne, AL. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Orville Eberle.

He cherished his Apostolic Christian Church family, his Ft. Sam Army buddies, and his Ft. Myers Beach friends. He was a life-long farmer. He graduated from Wyoming High School Class of '64. Marv was a United States Army veteran. He was drafted into the United States Army and served as a medic in the 46th Surgical Hospital in Germany during the Vietnam era from 1965 – 1967. He served on the Valley Grade School Board of Education. As a four-time cancer survivor he took part in cutting-edge research studies for malignant melanoma.

Burial will be in the Princeville Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.
