Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Horne Adams, 79 of 325 Bobby Faucett Road Jonesville, Widow of Mr. Roy T. Adams, was called home by her Lord and Savior January 8 2023 Surrounded by her family at Spartanburg Hospice Home. Mrs. Adams was kind hearted and had a very selfless nature. She was always wanting to help others in any way possible. Her family was her pride and joy and she never left them without saying "I love you with all my heart". She was the greatest mother, nanny and friend. She was a caregiver to many and a caretaker to many family members. She was like a Angel on Earth to so many people. Mrs. Adams was born June 13 1943 in Union S.C. the daughter of the late Ottis and Mittie Horne. She retired from Milliken Gillespie Plan in 1992. Mrs. Adams was a faithful member of Fairforest Baptist Church where she served in the nursery and the host while her health allowed. Survivors include three daughters Dora Palka and fiance' Joe McCoy, Tammy Pridemore (Rickey), Ann Faucett (Robbie), a sister Gerline Burnett and a special sister Patricia Harmon, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers John Henry Horne and Victor Samson Horne and one sister Jeanette Fowler. . Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 11 2023 at 2pm at Upper Fairforest Church with Pastor Mark Truitt and Dr. Aubrey Calvert officiating.. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8pm at the church. Pallbearers include Andy Gault, Shannon Gault, John David Horne, Rod Horne, Adams Faucett and Gabriel Tyler. The ladies Sunday School Class, Bobby and Ester Dehart, Rodney and Kathy Gallman will serve as the honorary escort. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Upper Fairforest Baptist, 1917 Jonesville Highway 29379, or Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive Spartanburg 29303. The family is at the home of her daughter Tammy Pridemore, 912 Browns Creek Church Road.
