- Word has been received here that Charles Corter of this city was killed on a railroad near Johnstown last week by falling from his engine and being run over. He was an engineer and was thirty two years old.
- He is survived by five brothers; Joseph, William, Henry, Thomas, and Frank Corter all of this city; and five sisters.
- The body will be brought here for burial.
