Dollie Carter
HEDRICK – Dollie Carter, 92, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Virginia Danels of Hedrick.
Born Jan. 6, 1883, in Batavia to William and Cordelia Holmes, she was a member of the First Christian Church in Ottumwa, the Relief Corps and the Degree of Honor. She married Lessie O. Carter March 30 [sic], 1909, in Ottumwa and he died Dec. 20, 1952. She and her husband farmed for many years in the Bladensburg area and moved to Hedrick in 1946.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Virgie Danels of Hedrick.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa.

HEDRICK – The service for Dollie Carter, 92, who died Friday, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Kenneth Hardin officiating. Burial will be in the Agency, Iowa, Cemetery.
