A FORMER MISSIONARY WORKER HERE DIES

Mrs. Clara E. "Lois" (Burton) Anthony, for many years engaged in missionary and welfare work in San Francisco, died Nov. 5 in St. Joseph's Hospital in Joliet, Ill., according to word received here yesterday. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery in South Chicago.

She was for a number of years in missionary work for the Home Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church of San Francisco and for nine years was matron at the Ellen Stark Ford Home here.
