Roscoe O. Beauchamp, the son of Robert Clinton Beauchamp and Mary Elizabeth Bradshaw, was born in 1886 in Kentucky. Since the Robert Clinton Beauchamp family was living in Short Creek, Grayson County, Kentucky at the time of the 1880 census, it is likely that he was born there. Roscoe was married twice. He married sisters Sarah Marie and Beulah Elizabeth DeHaven, daughters of William Issac Dehaven and Sarah Elizabeth "Bettie" Fisher. His first wife was Sarah Marie, who was born on March 12, 1895. They were married on January 19, 1915. Their known children were Mary Elizabeth, the wife of Charles James Crawford; and Betsye Beauchamp. After the death of Marie in 1923, he married her sister Beulah Elizabeth on September 12, 1929. Roscoe O. Beauchamp died on February 13, 1948 in Grayson County. He was buried with his first wife Sarah Marie Beauchamp in the Vol Layman Cemetery near Millwood, Grayson County, Kentucky. They share the same stone. His second wife Beulah Elizabeth Beauchamp was buried in the Thomas Cemetery in Leitchfield, Grayson County, Kentucky after her death there many years later on January 5, 1968.
