Larry L. Moran, previously of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Lawlis Hospice in Mequon, Wisconsin. He was 73 years old.

Larry was born on September 7, 1949, in Boscobel, Wisconsin to parents Keith Ray Moran and Barbara Elaine Collins, the second of two boys.

Larry grew up in Boscobel, later moving to Madison and graduating from Robert M La Follette High School. After a two-year apprenticeship, Larry became a sheet metal worker, a profession he would continue to practice for almost 50 years. Later, Larry moved to Wisconsin Rapids where he continued to live and work. Larry also enjoyed working around the house and tinkering with computers. He operated a local Bulletin Board System (BBS) from his home in the 1990s.

Larry is survived by daughters Darcy (Brian) Zalewski, Kristie Ponce, Brandey (Eric) Cordes, and Trisha (John) Welsh. Grandchildren: Aerissa Zalewski, Xander Zalewski, M. Jaden Ponce, Gabriel Ponce, Tanner Yancey, Halle Yancey, Alec Stringer, Morgan Fogt, Gage Hahn, Emma Welsh, Brody Welsh, Taylor Dixon, and Jonathan Herrick. Larry is also survived by great grandchildren Miles Stringer, Walker Fogt, and Sylvia Herrick, sister-in-law Anne Moran, and many friends and neighbors.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Barbara Moran, and brother Doug Moran.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, as Larry loved his pets, donations to the Wisconsin Humane Society in his memory are appreciated.
