There remains some question regarding the birth year of Isaac. It may be a year "off". Isaac died "of paralysis". His wife was the former America J. Short (born 1849) and they married on 22 August 1872. They had at least four children. They are also buried at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, their stone reading, "They sleep in the arms of Jesus, Dear parents so pure and fair. They rest in their home in heaven, where there is no sorrow or care."
