Funeral services for Neta Faye Smith Hall, age 81, of the New Harmony community are scheduled for 10:30 A.M. Saturday May 27, 2017 in the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home chapel in Lindale, Texas with Bro. Robbie Caldwell and Bro. James Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in the New Harmony Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home. Mrs. Hall died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in a Tyler, Texas nursing center. She was born on August 31, 1935 in Tyler to the late Albert Lawrence and Myrtle (Meadows) Smith and has lived in the New Harmony community since 1994. She attended Tyler Commercial College and retired from Texas Department of Human Services in Tyler after being employed there for 27 years. Mrs. Hall had formerly been a longtime member at the Carmel Baptist Church in Lindale and is currently a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church. She was a member of TOPS and was preceded in death by, husband, Billy Glen Hall; granddaughter, Amy Lowry; grandson, Billy Ray Hall; great grandson, Michael Allen Hall, Jr.; twin sister, Veta Smith; sister, Gladys Smith; and brothers, Virgil Smith and James Edwin "Ed" Smith. Mrs. Hall is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Randy & Wanda Baggett of New Harmony, Texas; Glenn Baggett of Houston, Texas; and Tony & Stacy Baggett of Greenville, Texas; stepsons, Kenneth Hall of Tyler, Texas; best friend, Bobbie Jernigan of Tyler, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
