He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Eddie and Pearl Ruby Powell, sisters Hazel, Blanche, Shirley, June, Patricia, and brothers Daniel and Bruce.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sharlene, son Dale, daughter Deb, (Alton), grandsons Chris and Michael, sister Linda, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
