Karen Van Plew of Wheaton died Thursday, Nov. 24. She was 65. She was born in Chicago on March 11, 1946.
She is survived by three daughters, Lisa, Juliana and Kristen; a son, Jonathan; five grandchildren, Alexandria, Brittney, Julian, Jonathan and Vivi; and a sister, Elsa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anders and Alice Carsten; and a brother, Richard.
A visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 1 at Williams Kampp Funeral Home and a funeral service was held at Faith Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn.
