Howard L. Drollinger, 84, of Clinton passed away on Tuesday December 13, 2022.

He was born on July 10, 1938, in Hoopeston, IL to Lee Drollinger and Allena Bradshaw Drollinger.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Earl Drollinger and Ralph Drollinger.

He is survived by his wife Carol Drollinger whom he married on January 7, 2006; stepdaughters Tina Bray (Mike), Brenda Alexander (Bob); sister-in-law Jean Drollinger; four grandsons and nine great grandchildren.

Howard served honorably in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960 achieving the rank of SP-4 serving some of his enlistment in Germany. He was a maintenance technician for Circle K retiring in 2005, he served on the Alcohol Beverage Commission for Vermillion County and the Area Plan Commission for Vermillion County, he a member of Mason Lodge No. 733 Gibson City, IL. Howard was a believer in God and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton. His hobby was being a private pilot for hot air balloons.

There will be a graveside service with military honors at the Danville National Cemetery in Danville, IL., on Wednesday December 21, 2022, at 1:00 PM (12:00 IL) with Rev. Tom Barnett officiating.
