CHARLOTTE — Mrs. Annie Bell McClure Dover Jamison, 90, of 3008 Parkway Ave.,, formerly of York, died Thursday, May 24, 2001 at home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dennis Funderburk and the Minister Martha Cherry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of York, Mrs. Jamison was a daughter of the late John and Nancy Hunt McClure. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Usher Board Kitchen Custodian Committee, Missionary Society and a Sunday school teacher. She as a member of the Order of the Eastern Start and the B&A Society.
Surviving are her son, David Webber Dover of York; three sisters, Beatrice Stewart of York, Ivory White of Greensboro, N.C., and Geneva Herron of Charlotte; eight grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 tonight at Wright Funeral Home in York and other times at the residence in Charlotte and at the home of Isaac N. Wright Jr., 12 Hunter St in York.
