"Mrs. Sarah Frances Holt was born in Indianapolis, Ind., February 6, 1872. She came to this community when a very young child and has made her home here her entire life.
She was married to W. F. White, January 17, 1894. There was one son born to them, W. H. White, who lives in St Joseph. Her second marriage was to Milton S. Holt. There were no children from this marriage. Mrs. Holt united years ago with the Methodist church. Her affiliation was with another church when she moved to St Joseph.
Mrs. Holt died September 7, at the home of her son, W. H. White, at the age of 67 years. The only survivor is her son.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. O. H. Loomis at the Terhune Mortuary on Saturday, September 9, at 2 o'clock. Burial was in the Savannah Cemetery." Savannah Reporter and Andrew County Democrat (Savannah, Missouri), September 15, 1939
