Moved to Sacramento in 1952 with one son and one daughter. She made a living by being a school cook and by the time she was 62 she was the head of several school cooks in Sacramento. She retired shortly after to devote herself to her grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 children, Paul Cacci of Rio Dell, Nick Cacci of Sacramento, and Diana Morgan of Coos Bay, OR, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Mildred donated her body to UC Davis Medical School to help others. There is no service.
In lieu of flower, donations to the local American Heart Assoc. or the American Red Cross.
