Rev. A.A. Ryan Dies Today At Jonesboro Home
The Rev. A.A. Ryan, aged 79, well known Greene County Minister, died at 10 o'clock this morning at his home in Jonesboro. He was a native of Greene County and has served as pastor of numerous churches in this section.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 Sunday afternoon from the Mt. Zion Church and burial will be made in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Willie Ryan, four daughters Mrs. A.W. Willcockson, Walnut Ridge, Mrs. John Cooper, Louiseville, KY, Mrs. Arthur Casey, Brookland, and Mrs. Monte Barrow, Paragould, five sons Marvin Ryan, Walnut Ridge, Arvil Ryan, Trumann, Arthur Ryan, Jonesboro, Athel Ryan, Detroit, and Arlie Ryan of St. Louis.
