He was born in Waycross, Georgia to the late Andrew Jackson Allbritton and Eula Mae Steverson Allbritton;; also preceded in death by two sisters, Nell Collins and Alice Tuckerman.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Living in Waycross for the majority of his life, Mr. Albritton moved to Yulee over twenty years ago. He worked as a truck driver for Joiner Transfer in Waycross, H&W Trucking Company in Cedartown, Georgia, and Silver Eagle Trucking in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mr. Albritton was an avid race car and antique tractor enthusiast. More than anything, he loved his grandchildren and any time he was able to spend with them.
Mr. Albritton is survived by two daughters
Bonnie Buchanan and her husband Richard of Mayo, Florida,
Wendy Drake of Brunswick, Georgia,
three grandchildren,
Connor Buchanan, Camden Buchanan, Callie Buchanan

and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m.
