He is preceded in death by his parents, James V. and Lucille M. (Wear) Connolly; sister, Colleen; uncle, Brother Donald Connolly, C.S.C.; and aunt, Eileen Brookover.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia of Council Bluffs; son, Jim Connolly and wife Alice; daughters, Amy Fox and husband Perry all of Omaha, Angela Day and fiancé Dennis Page, and Andrea Burkhart all of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Brad, Josh, Kylee, Brett, Brooke, Trevor, Alex, Ethan, Ashley, Chelsea and Zoe, 7 great grandchildren; cousins.
