Joseph Ozema Mott, Sr. passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Lucy Thierry "Virl'' Mott. Father of Rose Mary Thibodeaux (Larry), Joseph Mott, Jr., Nolan Mott (Linda), Stanley Mott, Ray Mott (Stephanie), Van Mott, Gregory Mott, and Shannon M. Ford (Roy). Brother of Catherine Gauthier, Betty Davis, and Lawrence Mott. Survived by 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A special thanks to West Jefferson Hospice for the care given to father. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Monday, May 28, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open on Monday, May 28, 2007 from 10:00 AM until service time. Donations to Hospice of your choice preferred.
