Lucy Eldridge was born about 1825 in Moldash. She married first Henry Bolton (sometimes spelled Balton) December 1854 at West Ashford, Kent.

They had two known sons, Thomas and Henry J. Bolton.

Lucy Bolton married Edward Chambers (his second wife and her second husband) 8 July 1875 at Charing Heath Holy Trinity Church.

In 1881, Edward Chambers is listed as a farm bailiff with wife Lucy Chambers. They are living at New Shelve, Lenham. Household members include Isaac Chambers, 40, groom; Henry J. Balton 9 (born Lenham,son of Lucy and her first husband);
