โขLINDSAY -- Graveside services for former Ratliff City resident Mary Ruth Wise, 87, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay.
Mrs. Wise was born March 14, 1914, at Altus, to Samuel P. and Maggie Shipman Beaird. She died June 20, 2001, in Joplin, Mo.
Married to Earl James Wise on Jan. 26, 1932, at Clemscott, she was a homemaker and member of VFW Women's Auxiliary in Ratliff City. She moved to Joplin in 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 28, 1942; and a daughter, Earline Heflin in November 1996.
Survivors include a son, William E., Joplin; a sister, Georgia Hannan, Ratliff City; brother, Henry P. Beaird, Michigan; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
