OBITUARY:
Hugh N. "Mac" McCormick, 87, of 16001 N. Beal Road died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 1995, at his residence.
Born Oct. 26, 1907, Vincennes, Ind., to Alvin and Ida Bezy McCormick, he married Rose Berglin on May 16, 1931, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Patricia) Bauwens of Peoria and Mrs. Barry (Suzanne) Jacobus of Princeville; and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by one brother.
He was a production manager at the Journal Star and later worked at the Peoria Labor News.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kickapoo, where services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Harry Pierjok will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Peoria. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Methodist Medical Center Hospice.
