Maude B. Garner
Funeral services for Maude B. Garner, of the Pikes Peak Manor Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Blunt Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery will follow the services. Mrs. Garner died Saturday in a local nursing home. She was 93. Mr. Garner was born Sept. 10, 1886, in Tennessee. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1930, previously living in Canon City and Bonham, Texas. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.
Mrs. Garner is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Zena Bourne, of San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Marie Tsatigh, of Enid, Okla.; Mrs. Delma Hale, of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Clara Bennett, of Boulder; Mrs. Louise Cook, of Wichita, Kan.; Mrs. Evelyn Olguin, of Colorado Springs and Mrs. Mildred Burchett, of Dayton, Ohio.
She is also survived by three sons, Miles Garner, of Colorado Springs; Seth Garner, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Lawrence Garner of Enid, Okla.; a brother, Ollie Sellers, of Springdale, Ark. and a sister, Mrs. Nora Junker, of Rupert, Idaho. Mrs. Garner is survived by 33 grandchildren, 87 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
