Antonia V. Onopa, 90, of Mesilla died at Memorial General Hospital.
A rosary was recited at Getz Funeral Home Chapel and funeral mass was held at San Albino Catholic Church in Mesilla, with burial in the San Albino Cemetery. The Rev. Mario Potzer officiated.
Survivors included two sons: Augustine Garcia of Las Cruces and Francisco Garcia of Gonzales, CA; two daughters: Louisa Gonzales of Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico and Aurora Telles of Mesilla; 23 grandchildren, 73 great-granchildren, and 54
great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Augustine Garcia, Francisco Garcia, James Tellez, Juan Guerra, Benjamin Soltero and Lalo Soltero.
