Mary's baptism is obtusely recorded under the Meigs surname as "Mary, mentioned [prob. bp. with missing identity of her parent] Jan. 14, 1770." The 1901 Meigs Genealogy (p. 35) says she was born Jan. 12, 1769, but probably should be Jan. 12, 1770 as all of her natural and half siblings were baptized within 7 days following their birth.
On Jan. 21, 1797 at Middletown (Ch. Rec.), Mary m. David Miner, son of Elihu Miner and Keziah Willey, b. Aug. 22 (bp. Oct. 15), 1752 at East Haddam, Conn. (E.H. VRs and Ch. Recs.). He d. Oct. 2, 1798 at Middletown. There is no recorded child of the marriage.
