Emory A. Paul was the youngest son of Wm. Morgan Paul and Samantha A. Stuter. His siblings were Lillian Paul Mereness, Etta Paul Stevens and Walter Paul. He was married to Emma A. Vanpool and raised three children, Percy Stuter Paul, Leta Rachel Paul Morris and P. Gene Paul. They lived for 51 years at Route 2 Barnett, Mo. He was a Farmer by trade and loved to tell his life stories.
Emory A. Paul services were at 11:00 a.m. at Versailles Assembly of God Church. The pastor was Rev. Wilson Phillips. Funeral services were by Scrivner Funeral Homes. The services were held Thursday November 30, 1972. Rev. and Mrs Coats sang " Sweet Bye and Bye" and "Face to Face" accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Arthur Eickhoff, Pall bearers were Harold Campbell, Jack Daniels, Jim Daniels, Tom Daniels, Marvin Welpman and George A. Porter. Burial was in Versailles Cemetery.
