Funeral services were Thursday, August 10, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Ola Mae Puckett was born December 10, 1921, in the Taft Community in Lincoln County, Tennessee. She lived all her life in this area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Puckett; and three brothers, Thomas, James and Calvin Taft.
Survivors include one son, Rayborn Puckett and wife Kay of Ardmore, AL; one daughter, Betty Melton and husband Thomas of Reidsville, NC; one brother, Ray Taft of Ardmore, AL; two grandsons, Johnny Whitt and Sean Puckett; and one great-granddaughter, Sasha Whitt.
