Francis Lyle Stewart 7/1/1922 ~ 1/18/2008 At age 85, Lyle passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Mountain Home, Utah to Edward and Alta Stewart. He married Stella Lee Stewart on October 2, 1964. Lyle grew up in Carbon County, Utah, and was a member of the LDS Church. He was proud to have served his country in World War II. He worked in the coal mines for many years, and also worked in the construction industry - retiring from National Roofing. Lyle's passion in life was hunting, fishing and the outdoors; he loved to tinker to his heart's desire. He is survived by his wife, Stella Stewart; children, Darlene (Pete) Garcia, Marlene Porter (Eric Nielsen), Arnold (Karin) Warner, Charlie (Sally) Warner; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Van Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, four sisters, and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. Interment to follow in the cemetery.
