Early Life: Marjorie entered this world May 3, 1920, in Spokane, Washington; she was adopted by George Anthony and Isabella Peltier Honsowetz. She attended schools in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Marjorie earned a BA in Education at Holy Names College in Spokane, Washington. Teaching was her life and she dedicated 39 years to children. Her kind and generous nature changed many young lives for the better. On August 7, 1948, Marjorie married John J. Bishop in a military ceremony in Memphis, Tennessee. John's military career moved them many times during their married life and they retired in Chula Vista, California. Her beloved John's passing on June 29, 1990, left her in Chula Vista without family. In September 1997, she chose a move to Billings, Montana, to be near her nephews: Dean (Cheryl) Walrod, Jim (Carol) Walrod; her nieces: Dolores (Art) Terpstra and Shirley (Duane) Lenning as well as their families. As a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, she formed many friendships which included: Mae, Florence, Mary Ellen and Marilyn. She enjoyed their companionship. She will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind. Marjorie Mae Honsowetz Bishop was called home by her Heavenly Father on February 11, 2008.
