William Fain Anderson, 58, Rt. 6 Jonesborough, died last Wednesday at his residence following a brief illness. He was a native of Washington County and a son of the late Hugh M. and Monta Sylvester Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a graduate of West Tennessee State University and a farmer. He was a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. Survivors include one brother, Stanley S. Anderson, Kingsport, one sister, Janis M. Anderson, Knoxville; and one aunt, Mrs. Isabelle Gott, Chattanooga. Funeral services were conducted Friday from the Chapel of Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Booher officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery. Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
