Robert Fernando Long
In 2005 Uncle Bud had a double lung transplant in Galveston, Texas. His sisterHilda Luellen Long-Pendleton took him up there and stayed by his side through it all. Not long after he ended up with a major staph infection in which took his life.
Not long after Uncle Bud had passed away his son Robert E. Long took his own life in Helotes, Texas.

FRANCITAS - Robert F. Long, 62, of Francitas, died Friday, June 17, 2005. He was born June 23, 1942, in Ganado, to Robert E. and Alice Jones Long. He was a truck driver for Vulcan Materials of Helotes.
Survivors: daughters, Sherry and Lynnette; son, Robert E; sisters, Hilda and Mary; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Triska Funeral Home, the Rev. Rick DuBroc officiating.
Burial will be at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, 979-543-3681.
