Latasha Ann Boyd-Handy was born in Houston, Texas on January 26, 1978 to Mr. and Mrs. Larry and Angela Boyd. Latasha (Tasha) was intelligent at a very young age. She attended Barbara Jordan High School for Careers where she received her high school diploma. She went on to complete many achievements in life including obtaining her bachelor's degree in Business. Latasha enjoyed life and making others laugh and feel comfortable. She enjoyed trying different cuisine and traveling. She always had an open mind to learning. Tasha was very reserved, she always had a way of making you feel welcomed in any situation. She found enjoyment in entertainment and pampering herself. She found Christ at a young age. She later rededicated her life to Christ where she worshipped at Greater Commission M.B.C.
Tasha gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Destini on July 10, 1998. She later met and married her husband Christopher Handy. They welcomed their son Christopher Devonn and Rayea and her family was complete. She spent twenty-five years as a research banker for J.P. Morgan Chase. She devoted her time and care to her career, family, and the community around her.
She was the eldest of five children or as she would say she was the original and the rest of us were carbon copies. The carbon copies are as follows Larry Jr. (Shemika), Daniel (Andrea), Antoinette (Carnell), Danielle (Damon). She was predeceased by her sons Blake and Nathaniel, as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She will be greatly missed.
