⬥︎A former Wellington man, Albert Armstrong, 70, of Ft. Worth died unexpectedly March 4. He was a retired teacher, having been a member of the Birdville School faculty 27 years.

Funeral services were held in Fort Worth.

He was born in Wellington, Texas on March 1, 1915; the son of the late Henry and Mabel Armstrong. He graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1934 and attended Texas Wesleyan College in Ft. Worth.

Survivors are his wife, Gervis of Ft. Worth; a son, Tony Armstrong; and two daughters, Linda Boyer and Pam Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his brother, Buddy Armstrong.
