PARAGOULD -- Homer Millard Edgar, 73, of Paragould died Wednesday, Feb. 12, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
He was born in Greene County and was a retired painter and Pentecostal minister.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Edgar of the home; one son, Kevin Edgar of Paragould; one daughter, Linda Brotemarkle of Paragould; two brothers, Raymond Edgar and Carlon Edgar, both of Paragould; one sister, Edna Coln of Paragould; and five grandchildren, Darryl Brotemarkle, Karla Edgar, Shawntae Edgar, Kingston Edgar and B.J. Edgar, all of Paragould; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Homer Ray Edgar; his parents, Truman Leonard and Donie Victoria Vannoy Edgar; and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Heath Funeral Home Colonial Chapel, with the Revs. Jim Frey and Earl McKelvey officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery in Paragould.
Pallbearers will be Doyle Ray, Argalous Hinton, Bryan Hooten, Terry Schug, Frankie Hammon and Jason Allen.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
