Inez Baggs passed away on Friday December 2,2022 at the age of 92. She was born on August 7,1930 in Pickens, OK, daughter of Thomas Baggs and Altha Rea (Walters) Baggs.
Inez was a very loving, kind and cheery person. Her family was her joy. She was a second mother to her siblings and second grandmother to her nieces and nephews. She was godly woman and enjoyed going to church and had served the Lord most all of her life. Inez loved flowers, whether growing in the yard or silk. She was an avid shopper; she could outshop her younger sisters. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in by her parents, Thomas and Altha (Walters) Baggs; nephew, Junior Baggs, Matthew Lowe; Nieces, Lajuana Engler, Terra Thompson; sister-in-law, Willa Lea Baggs; brother- in- law, Leon Scarberry.
She leaves to cherish her memory siblings, J.M. Baggs, Christine Holmes and husband Vernon, Irene Scarberry, Melvin Baggs and wife Sharon, Wayne Baggs and wife Edna, Velda Campbell and husband James, Joyce Hays and husband Rick; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6,2022 at Pickens Holiness Church from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service Wednesday December 7,2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Pickens Holiness Church. Internment to follow at County Line Cemetery.
