Emma Marie Adams, 82, of Hamilton, Illinois, the Lord called her home on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

A visitation will be held from 12 – 2 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Entombment: Linwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Cedar Rapids.

Emma was born November 15, 1940, the daughter of George and Jennie (Whitson) Attwood.

She worked as a hostess for Catfish Bend Casino until her retirement in August 2006.

Emma was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club #2272, Hamilton Senior Center, and Golden Point Church.

She loved frogs, quilting, and crocheting.

Emma always had a home cooked meal and a hot cup of coffee ready, a listening ear, and a shoulder to cry on.

Emma captured memories through her photos.

Emma left behind many loving friends and neighbors wherever she lived.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jennie Attwood; husband, Daniel H. Adams; and brothers, Leonard "Red" Henderson, Ray, Tommy, and Dale Attwood.
