Billy Joe Boitnott, age 89, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehab in Madisonville.
Billy Joe was born January 10, 1933 to the late Joel and Connie Horning Boitnott. Billy Joe worked maintenance at Alcan Aluminum in Sebree, KY. He enjoyed farming and operating all kinds of equipment, from dozers to four-wheelers. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Caldwell County, KY.
Billy Joe is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sue Morse Boitnott; three daughters, Debbie (Dennis) Massey of Caldwell County, Ruth Ann Wright of Bowling Green, and Laura K. Boitnott of Louisville; one son, Joel Boitnott of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Shannon (Jason) Richardson, Jason Massey, Ashley (Dan) Goodlett, Lindsey (Matthew) Groves and Matthew Boitnott; five great-grandchildren, Logan Richardson, Callie Richardson, Claire Groves, Adelyn Groves and Henry Groves; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Billy Joe is proceeded in death by a daughter, April Bridges; two sisters, Helen Hardin and Lana Hodge.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 1:00pm at Beech Grove General Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Church Cemetery.
