Troy Allen Ours, age 52, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 as a result of a motor vehicle accident, Moorefield, WV.

He was born January 21, 1965 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late John Edgar Ours and Joyce Ann (Smith) Ours.

Troy graduated from Petersburg High School in 1983. He was a truck driver for over 30 years. He began his driving career with V.R. Mowry Trucking, Chris Alt's Trucking, Keith Haines Trucking, Grant County Mulch, Perdue Farms and recently M & M Transport.
Troy was a member of Petersburg First Baptist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his animals.

Troy is survived by his wife Penny (Reynolds) Ours; one son, Jonathan Paul Ours and wife Courtney of Flatwoods, KY; one grandson, Leland Jacob Paul Ours; one sister, Ravenna Redman and husband Jason of Petersburg, WV and one brother, Bruce E. Ours and wife Angie of Petersburg, WV; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In accordance with Troy's wishes, his body will be cremated. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Petersburg First Baptist Church.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Potomac Highlands Animal Rescue, 940 Corner Road, Cabins, WV 26855.
