A Mass of Christian Burial for Christopher Jude "Boss" Moreau will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Pineville with Reverend Dale Meade officiating and assisted by Deacon Lee Moreau. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery, Pollock.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church Friday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Moreau, Charles Moreau, Robert Moreau, Robert Lachney, Sergio "Alberto" Ruiz, and Charlie Moreau.

Mr. Moreau, 54, of Pollock, entered into the waiting arms of our heavenly father on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at his home.

An avid outdoorsman Chris loved to hunt and fish but his greatest pleasure was riding his big Kubota tractor cutting, racking, and baling hay. Also tending to all the cattle on the farms. Above all he loved spending time with family and friends. He will truly be missed by those that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Nell Moreau Luttrell; infant brother, Michael N. Moreau; sisters, Ann Jones Moreau, and Deborah Bouche, and step-son, Steven P. Lachney.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 14 years, Charlette Lachney Moreau; step-daughter, Heather Lachney (Justin); grandchildren, Grace Irene Lachney, Harley Rose Lachney, and Scott Phillip Lachney; father, Lloyd N. Moreau (Faith); brothers, Charles H. Moreau (Phylis), Jimmy Moreau (Joanie), and Robert A. Moreau (Betty); sisters, Kathy Coutee (Steve), and Connie Reeves (Raymond); half-brothers, Clay Bankston (Darlene), and Ames Bankston (Kristie); half-sister, Holly Gauthier (Jason); mother and father-in-law, Daisy Lachney (John); special friend, Sergio "Alberto" Ruiz; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and, friends.
