"Abbie S. Kirtley, 52, died Friday afternoon at a Kansas City, Mo., hospital after a long illness.
The daughter of Frank L. Kirtley formerly prosecuting attorney of Buchanan County and Stella Gore Kirtley, she was a St Joseph native. For the past seven years, she was administrative assistant to the president of the Silver Dollar City Association.
Survivors include numerous cousins.
Graveside services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Meierhoffer-Fleeman funeral home." St Joseph News-Press, October 20, 1979
