Roy I. Williams Dead After Heart Attack
A former Granville sporting goods store operator, Roy I. Williams, age 60, died Thursday after a heart attack in his home, 145A Langfield Drive. Mr. Williams for two years had been a ticket agent at the Peace Bridge.
After 15 years as operator of the Williams Sporting Goods Store in Granville, Mr. Williams came to Buffalo in 1943 to become an inspector in the Airport plant of Curtiss-Wright Corporation, where he was employed two years. Born in Middle Granville, he was a 32d degree Mason and a member of Granville Lodge 55 F&AM.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn G Williams; a son, Gilbert, and a brother, Lewis E. of Syracuse. Services will be held tomorrow at 2 in the Frank G. Rochester Funeral Home, 2732 Bailey Ave. The Rev. J. Ernest Jjolly, minister of MacAlpine Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Hill
